Don't feel bad John, I didn't make it past Monday. I had 2 yesterday and 1 today. Tomorrow will hopefully be a better day. I only seem to crave my pop in the morning in lieu of coffee

Down 0.4 for the week, had one really bad day Friday, but otherwise was on the mark with my eating and exercise. Oh well at least its the right direction, maybe more this week.

9/4 175
9/11 170.5
9/18 168.5

-2 for the week. Still doing Medifast in moderation. Adding fruit and yogurt, a glass of wine here and there, but sticking with the 5 and 1 plan for the most part.

Went for a swim this morning, trying to keep exercise in the plan but at a workable range.

Nice work on the soft drink challenge, keep up the good work, change happens in small but sure steps.

Sept 1- 201

Sept 11- 199

Sept 18 - 197

Sept goal- 195

Still dropping weight, even after going a bit nuts eating on my B-Day.  I guess the race that day offset it.  Still tracking to hit my goal for the month.

Stuck at 219 lbs.

Day 3 of no soda. Found out I don't like Le Croix, at least not the cranberry flavor.

This week should be interesting, eating at GFs all weekend, and running a 10k. I have told her we are eating home cooked meals, and I plan on having a discussion with her about portions. She has been struggling with her weight, Last time we were together she ate me under the table. (She lives 4 hours away). Anyhow, should be a good weekend though.

Great job all! No change in weight this week. Unless I do something drastic, not looking like I am making 260 by October. Frustrating because I am starving from working out so much but know I wont lose weight if i eat the way I am. This has not been a problem in the past, but this go round has been a struggle to say the least. Maybe I shouldn't worry about it so much since the season is over, I am focusing on running which is improving, and I am only working on base phase/ winter maintenance.

Not a good week, I'm sure.  Gotten a few runs in thats about it.  My soda intake is not going well either.  At a conference this week.

It is the week after my first Intermediate distance triathlon (bike was 4 miles longer then an Olympic).

Not sure what I weighed in at.  I don't think the damage will be to bad (crosses fingers).

HAHA, Sorry didn't mean to rub it in, I have way too many of my own vices.

Another bad week for me, work schedule is crazy which means i have a tendency to reward myself on the weekend!

Weigh in this morning 230, solidly up from the start of the month!

*** re-enters discussion, hanging head ***

I still have not weighed myself this month ... I am scared to get on the scale (plus I have been eating insane amounts of food)

The month started well with me planning to do MFP but that didn't come to fruition ... and hmmm ... I haven't eaten well all month. I've had sweet potato fries 3x from chip truck, ice cream and a bunch of other bad stuff ... including coke a couple of times (half the can).

So I'll re-state what I hope to accomplish - lose between 5-10 lbs ... and I'll make it a point to step on the scale tomorrow morning.

But I have been doing quite a bit of activity (a bike tour, cycling to work (60k round trip), started the Hal Higdon 5k intermediate running plan, have a couple of tris coming up ... ) so with a bit of discipline, I am sure I can get back on track and hopefully I haven't gained any weight this month with my crappy eating!

I'm in on the pop challenge!

9/19 - 189.8 - barely hanging onto the 180s.   I am actually surprised it's not higher.  One thing I need to go back to is absolutely no partaking of sweets at work.  They come around occasionally and get delivered by vendors, or left in the kitchen,. and I've been nibbling here and there.  Well, until I had that HUGE slab of chocolate cake.  Hey, the sign said "help yourself"!!!!

Goal is to get back to my race weight of 185 fior Miami 70.3 end of October, totally doable of course, nothing to it but to do it

Back at it, I don't know my weight and I am a bit nervous to step on that scale.  Was living out of hotel rooms and eating out for 10 days in a row... Not good.

Damage control time!

Ran a women's obstacle race this weekend, the Diva Dash. It was tamer than I expected, but I definitely enjoyed myself. My only disappointment was that there was absolutely no mud to show for my efforts. I was expecting at least a good "after" shot to brag about. I guess I have to try a co-ed event for that!

Just a had an eye-opening discovery. Had a catered lunch at work. Panera sandwiches and cookies. I started by eating only the sandwich. Caved and ate the cookie too. 950 calories for a whole chicken caesar sandwich and chocolate chip cookie. Holy S***!

That's why I pack my own lunch

How was everyone else's weekend?

Well it's that day again...

9/4 - 245.0
9/11 - 236.4
9/18 - 236.0
9/25 - 234.4

It's not looking good for making my September goal of 230 or my 800 mile bike goal (only 482 miles so far), but the numbers are at least heading in the right direction.

Hope everyone had a good week.

Sept 1- 201

Sept 11- 199

Sept 18 - 197

Sept 25 - 195

Sept goal- 195

Hit my monthly goal with 5 days to spare.  That's encouraging as I haven't been super disciplined these past few weeks.

9/25 168.5

Went up and back down this week. TOM and indulgences over the weekend contributed to the stalled scale, I'm sure. Back on track on trying to keep going down.
