I recommend either Finish Line PT on 23rd&6th or NEw York Sports Med &PT which has 3 offices. Both have excellent therapists who understand the needs of an athlete.

They're both very good at working with you to bill as an out of network provider with not a huge cost to you. I'd talk with them before ruling them out. Also try Progressive Movement. I went to PT school with the owners. http://progressivemovementpt.com/

Oh.. I didn't see that there were two places mentioned in the original message. I was talking about finish line with the insurance concerns.
I'll check them all again on Monday.
Thanks for your help.

You didn't specifically say where you are, but from other posts, it seems the city.

I have treated this problem for about 20 yrs with various treatments. A combination of various manual therapies, and passive therapies work the best amongst other exercises/stretches.  So if you are in the Babylon area( maybe if you work in city but live on the island) I may be able to help, if not, good luck to you....you can check me out and learn more about me. If the website link does not show up you can click it at the footer of this post......again good luck    www.southlakechiro.com

I have pedals with the cage and when I ride 2+ hours my legs feel much more tired then if I took out my husband's bike with clipless pedals. Do clipless pedals truly make the difference?

I have a pain deep in my calf about five inches below the knee. A sports doctor did not feel anything wrong in the muscle, and there was no bruising. The tender spot can still be felt on massage.

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.

I may not have pre-pubescent hips or breasts and at 36 that would be ridiculous. I do not need to have an "airbrushed body" and why do I revere that?
