Hey Everyone!

I know I have seen a few discussions in the past on here about obstacle racing. I did a Spartan Beast a few weeks ago and wrote a report (both the good and bad). It is on my blog below if you are interested in reading it.

Was it the Spartan race that is full contact?

There is a big one around here that I was thinking of doing next summer. They look like fun.

What does "full contact" mean? I'm not sure.

There was a Spartan race that I read about a few months ago that you can tackle/pull//push/wrestle people as you do the course. Maybe it wasn't 'Spartan' branded. I forget which it was.

Can't run outside in the snow? Think again. I flew up the first hill with surprising ease and power. The Yaktrax gripped into the ice like racing spikes on a rubber track. Sweeeeet.

Triathletes are not invincible. Some of us like to think we are, but that is just not true. Anything can happen to us in open water. So why not make sure you are prepared for an emergency?

After a while on my first longish ride, I noticed that I was getting numb. It’s scary. “Will feeling return?” is the first thing that comes to mind.
