Several other athletes went up ahead of him. |

We have another baby on the way so there won't be enough time for me to train for full IM in 2014 but 1/2's shouldn't be that big of a deal I wouldn't think. 6717 feet of climbing is pretty nuts...oh and so is 31% grade on the wall at the end! |

I did this race with a volume typical of a 70.3 with a heavy bike focus. It wasn't enough to "race", but just enough to finish. |
