Ladies, don't worry they have versions for us too And, yes, you know I would. I already shared these with my mentor group, but every time I went back to the mentor thread and saw them they made me smile. And then I realized, when I see someone rocking something like this in a race it totally makes me smile, and I bet it creates a totally different race experience. I was planning on racing in a speedo (for women) next year anyway. I'm in. So would you or wouldn't you? OR, best yet, have you? And if so, pics PLEASE!
Any man who would rock this one, I would buy at least a beer for post-race: In white? Bwahahaha!
And there's a song to go with this one:
And the pièce de résistance!

My last race I was passed by a guy on the bike that was wearing only a tiger striped speedo. Shoes, helmet, speedo, thats it. I was cracking up. I am sure others have seen much crazier things, but I've only done 2 races, so what I have seen is limited so far. |

OK, I can totally understand that, but it did make you "crack up":) That's what I'm talkin about. I'm just thinking there's no way you can have a "bad" race if you're making people laugh. I wonder if it's only funny on dudes though? There's something inherently funny about a dude in a speedo. Unless it's Faris. Respect. |

Member 560 Utah | Subject: RE: Would you or wouldn't you? As a female, I would DIE laughing if I saw someone in these. They are a riot! But, it would take the right guy to pull them off. And I'm not just talking about his physique, it would take the right kind of personality. The pool I swim at has a guy that has quite the collection of speedos, and he just comes across as a "creeper" in general, and the speedos he wears don't help him any. However, they would definitely make me laugh |

I actually think any physique would work, but the personality is key :) I have a creeper guy like that at the pool I go to. Not like. So, Katie, would you do the female version? |

Get me one with a Batman logo (or just about any other DC superhero besides Superman, I don't like the Big Blue Boy Scout) and I just might do it. That'd be right coming out of the wetsuit, especially if people were watching transition. That being said, after wearing one for years and years and years for HS swimming, water polo, and masters swim, I think my speedo days might be in the past. |

Remember how much fun you had in that race with your Batman action? It'd be like that on steroids. And you, my friend, could totally pull it off. They have a Captain America style, but I didn't see any other superheros. I think it's probably a trademark thing :/ Edited by switch 2013-09-26 9:06 AM |

So far, just aquathlons (swim/run). No tris in them yet... I had to wear my Rev3 kit for all tri's last year and I haven't done a tri yet this year. |

64 | Subject: RE: Would you or wouldn't you? There's so many to choose from.. I'm thinking it will definitely be at least one of the shimmer ones, i'm leaning towards or I think if I go with the 2nd I'm gonna need to find some body glitter to put on in T1. But then there's and So difficult to choose.. Definitely will be doing Abs over the winter now. |

Excellent choices, btw I mean if i'm wearing a glittering speedo, I definitely want the rest of me to sparkle as well! Putting it on before the swim would mean it just gets washed off (or in the wetsuit) |

Excellent choices, btw This is good forward thinking. I like your strategy. I wonder if it would considered "outside assistance" if you asked someone to be a glitter applier? Sorta like a wetsuit stripper, but different... |

And really want the one that Elaine has - hello... it's WONDER WOMAN! But I have a friend (and triathlete) who wears this on a regular basis. As an overly flamboyant and very fit gay man, he can totally ROCK it! |

The last thing I want to deal with at the end of 70.3 is suit that won't stay put. |
