Well I totally wasted this month.  Slacked off on both diet and exercise.  But at least I didn't go backwards.  November will see me back in my disciplined ways!

September end weight = 195 pounds

October end weight = 194 pounds

1 pound lost (easy math)

October goal weight= 189 pounds

Ugh, why did I choose to have my first junk food binge in a while the night before my final weigh in?!?! That, combined with not working out yet this week did not bode well for the scale this morning:

October 1: 135
October 13: 133.5
October 17: 132.5
October 23: 131.5
October 31: 134.5

I'm not really worried I actually gained 3 lbs in the past week, but I certainly didn't meet my goal for October. Oh well, at least I got in a short run this morning and hope to keep the momentum rolling for the rest of the week.

Good job to all of you who met your goals!

Good start, bad middle, ok end of the month. Tri season is over so now it's time to concentrate on my half Mary training.

The off-season is the best time to fine tune your skills and prepare yourself for the next season. It is also time for you to gain some strength and get a little rest after a long season of training.
