Length only, or are you considering the bangs as well?

I've had side swept bangs on and off. They are cute when you have the time to "do" them, but generally a pain when being active. I *always* had to carry bobby pins to pin them back, or a headband, or a hat/visor. It was do-able but you might consider starting with the shorter overall length and keeping your bangs long enough to tuck behind an ear or long enough to reach a ponytail holder.

With some sort of bangs.

No problem keeping a headband or bobby pins handy.

I approve of the proposed hairstyle.  Personally, I think shoulder length or longer looks the best but there is also too long.
You're hair isn't too long by any stretch, so I think you'll look great either way.  Go with what you like the best.

personally, I like a pony tail length hair on a lady, but I also know that I have very little say in the matter.

Usually the first thing to go after marriage and kids is the long hair.

It'd be long enough to put in a ponytail still. Gotta meet army regulation!

Also, Tony - if I KNEW what I wanted, I would not have made a TAN poll, just an appointment for a haircut!

I think this site allows you to add your own photo and experiment with styles.

I have this rule about hair that you may find helpful in making your decision: It grows back :)  If you want to try it, go for it!

I've had hair down to my belly-button, a shaved head, and many things inbetween.

Men generally tend to like long hair on women, but long hair isn't always the best look on some women (I think I'm one of them).  You look like someone who could pull of long or short.

FWIW, I think your hair would look great shorter with some layers and long bangs :)

I disagree, hair doesn't always grow back.  My scalp has a lot less hair than it used to.  lol

Bwaaahhhaahahahahahaaa

I remember watching that as a kid (music class, IIRC), but forgot how BAD it was.

'Course, many would say I'm now just jealous, as my head is… well… more aero than most.  Wink

Ahem… getting back on topic-ish.

I'm not a fan of bangs on most women (IMO, very few - some but very few - can pull them off without squaring off their face too much), but ponytails are always sexxeh.  Laughing

Done! Here it is straight. It's still long enough for a pontail (Army regulations!) I'm not crazy about how it look curly, but I've gotten some compliments. No pictures of that look yet.
