What would you do differently?:

Given the conditions and results, nothing

Comments:

Similar to my last Olympic tri, my left quad want to cramp about 1 mile into the run. So I managed effort again so as not to cramp during the run. Briefly walked the water stations to drink. This was a PR for a 10K run in a triathlon so overall I can not complain.
What would you do differently?:

My training has been hampered by business travel, so other than more training, nothing. Hopefully my travel schedule will reduce. I definitely need more time on the bike!
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

Reduction in training due to travel.

My first triathlon was at age 56. At first I was just the cameraman at my daughter's first triathlon, then I am doing the races that she has done.

Knowing where the fluids are, how they will fit on your bike, how much to reach for, and when to reach for it should be understood prior to ever setting foot on the course.
