Felt good, Knees were a little cranky starting down the hill but did fine.
What would you do differently?:

train more!
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around for about 30-40 minutes, trying to find the car. LOL parked in the dark and didn't pay attention to which area.

Event comments:

3500 overall participants. 1371 chip timed participants.

Fun race. Loved that my step-daughter also did the race. Her first ever 10k.

Weather was dry and a little chilly about 45-50*F. Top of bridge was fogged in.

Pace avg was 11:25 minutes per mile. A little slower than I was hoping but still pleased. The killer mile was the hill which slowed me to a 12:45 pace.
Course: flat except for the one killer mile over the high point of the bridge.

You’re probably not going to get it just right immediately. Like always, just do the best you can and keep on keeping on. Don’t get upset if you don’t hit the target every time.
