For those of you who enjoy the Sufferfest cycling videos, they are bringing back for another year the "Tour de Sufferlandria" in January. Full details on Oct 25th. 9 days of killing yourself on the trainer for charity. I couldn't do it last year, but will be all in this year. there were a bunch of BT'ers doing this last year, hope there is this year, too,.

The Tour was a good experience last year. It was great to follow it on Facebook and see all the pictures of other people dying and sweating along with you. I do remember hating life towards the last day or two though.

My legs hated me for about a week after.

Wow, just saw the full schedule -- this looks all kinds of brutal!

An FTP test to start the tour? I can just imagine how I'll feel the next day....and for the seven days after that!

It's going to be tough, but I'm in.  I'm going to give it a go. I'm going to start using TR soon, so I'll use that along with it.

Best thing I ever did was to use TR with the 'fest videos. Great feedback on your cycling, and a good motivator to make sure you don't slack off while driving yourself into the ground.

The day with "angels" & "The Hunted" back to back is ugly.

I'm hoping to join it this year.

Make sure to check out the TR BT Team!

Awesome! I'm excited to do this and absolutely love the SUFFERFEST vids. My concern is that I don't own a computer and only and iPad so not all of these videos are available through their app yet. Hopefully, Angels, Blender, and the Hunted become available soon. I've heard they're great vids anyway.

I'm in on this. I've done a few of the Sufferfest vids and they are really hard. I've got the permission from the wife for this to give me 2 hours a night to beat myself up.

Revolver literally made me almost puke.

HHNF is really hard as well.

I have a few more videos to buy but that's okay.

Stage 7 looks crazy with Angels and Hunted back to back.

There are no easy days on this schedule.

Just signed up for this the other day.......still asking myself why? I was going to do the tour without the videos but now seeing a couple of them, thinking about buying all of them, should be motivating....at least that's what I'm telling myself.
I do have a question and maybe someone can answer for me. I use Dropbox as a cloud back up system, can I save the video's there and then stream them within Trainer Road? Never done video with Trainer Road so I really don't know how that works.
And Suffer On......
Thanks
Jerred

If you're able to point the location of it in a directory like you can in explorer, then it will work.  If not then you'll have to save the video locally.

That is today! I am not sure how to even handle it yet..... Ride one wait a bit and ride the other I guess. Normally a 2 hour trainer road session isnt to bad but these sufferfest rides are a new level of brutal.

"Fandom" in triathlon compared to other sports. If you're a sports fan and simply love to follow sport, why pick a sport that may offer a view of the start, the finish and a few moments in between?

Don’t forget this is an incredibly big year for sport with the Olympics back in Athens where the modern Olympics started, and especially triathlon to make its second appearance.
