I'm going as the Healthcare.gov website....

I paid $600 for it, it's just thrown together, it doesn't do much, it'll probably break at some point tonight.

But the good news is....I'm being told that I get to keep it after Halloween.

I was the Ghillie suit monster, scared many old and young alike. Mostly sat by the front door with a bunch of black lights going, a strobe, and a fog machines. Had that big bowl on my lap and would shake it as folks came to the door not sure whether to knock or grab candy from the bowl.

I went to see Phish in Atlantic City. 80% of the crowd was in costume. Check out the gallery on their facebook page for some epic middle-aged costume extravaganzas. The winner of the contest gets a pair of tickets to the 3-night sold out new year's run in NYC. So there were some awesome setups. Some are clever takes on Phish songs, so somewhat in jokes. Many Robin Thicke/Miley combos, some gender switched. An ace and gary couple was pretty awesome. Several Breaking Bad references, many Big Lebowski characters. Ahead of me were three people dressed in basketball gear, wearing giant inflatable doughnuts: Dunkin Donuts.

My contribution: old fat retired Lance Armstrong. The blood bag/tube was made of light-up wire inside a real IV bag.

I was a Cheshire Cat for a bit, then Jake the dog from Adventure Time.

No pictures of Jake though...
