Wow some of you have some salty goals! I'm not going to rain on your motivation but I might recommend taking a hard look at what's realistic and set yourself up for meeting your goals so frustration does not set in... best of luck!

As for me:

Starting weight: 128.4
End of Nov goal: 125.0

125 has been my goal weight since August and I've slowly crept down from 135-138. 1 lb per week is tough week after week, but I think do-able for me this month. Check that: it would be 0.85 lb per week.

217 for 11/1

Monthly Goal 212, but realistically 215.

I have a 1/2 marathon 11/9 and another 1/2 on December 1st. My training is suffering with a hurt back, and I realized what was wrong. I stopped riding my bike. I rode one time in 2 months, BUT have ran 4 times a week.

Looking forward to the holidays.

I'm back in for this month!

Weight at end of October: 134.5

Goal for end of November: 130

This was my goal for the end of October too, so I'm not sure that it will happen, but I'm going to give it a go, especially since I suspected the 134.5 at the end of October was partially due to water retention since I went up 3 lbs in the last week and that seemed a bit excessive. I would be SO happy if I could get back into the 120s by the start of 2014. If only it wasn't for all the delicious food coming up!

Hello,

My name is Daniel and I have not been on this site for a very long time. Seems like I stumbled into a motivational weight loss group.
Very interested. Is it too late to get into this group. Other than stating current weight. a goal weight and Wednesday weigh ins are there any other things I should know?

Noe Daniel you got it! Several of us track on myfitnesspal.com and I have a group on there too, where I try and post stuff. It is fun to see the day in and day out accomplishments of others. I know when i read that so and so ran for 69 minutes and burned 100's of calories, I want to go home and burn more.

My username on MFP is zaidnohj feel free to friend me and I will invite you to the group too.

Starting Weight: 231
Todays Weight: 226.5
Goal Weight: 219.

The 4.5 pounds might seem impressive in 5 days, but in the spirit of full disclosure, I weighed myself in the afternoon on November 1st, and I weighed myself today in the morning.

New to this thread. what else do I need to post.

Ps...i'm trying weight watchers as well, going to meetings, tracking points....all of that. it seems to be going well.

Checking in for this month...

Nov starting weight: 212.6

Nov 6: 212.6

Goal weight this month: 210

Got the frustrating news from my dietitian that one of the medications I'm on makes it a bear to lose weight (no kidding?) and -- double boo -- that it's probably made me insulin-resistant to boot. Big shakeups in my diet as a result, since now I have to watch carbs like a hawk to keep the insulin resistance from progressing. Hopefully that'll lead to cleaner eating in general and help the weight come off a little quicker.

Start of Month: 281

11/6: 278.6

End of Month Goal: 266

I'll take it. I'm a little surprised given I'm laid up with injury right now and had to cut back training, but I've been watching food like a hawk this month.

Ok, I'll try this as I am trying to lose some wieght, specifically about 14 pounds

Today's weight: 147
Goal weight: 132
By end of month weight: 143

I was at 141 a couple of months ago and kind of plateau'd. Then I got an injury and gained the aditional 6 pounds. Want it OFF! Hopefully this helps!

I should say, my GOAL weight is 178. This MONTH'S goal weight is 196. If I can hit that I think I can lose another 4-5 in December and be in at around 191 @ 16% BF, then 187 in January at 14%, 183 in Feb at 12%, 178 in March at 10% and my race in on March 29th.

Once I've fired up my metabolic engine via carb reduction (which started yesterday) the pounds will drop fairly easily down to about 184-187. The problem will be putting on more muscle due to increased training loads. Hopefully that will start to taper down in the next month or 2.

I'm back!

Beg of Oct: 147.6
10/30: 143.4
11/06: 144.2
Goal for end of Nov: 140.2

Up a little from last week due to some sloppy eating and some water weight, I presume. Hope it will come back off this week - tracking food very carefully and weighing everything.

Good luck all!

217 for 11/1
219 for 11/6
Monthly Goal 212, but realistically 215.

Not the best start for a hard month.
