Tragic, I can't imagine the shock and devastation for all involved. Stories like this stay with me when I ride and are a major influence on where, when and how I ride.

My deepest condolences for all involved.

So Sorry for his wife and children, it hurts to think about their pain. I know that a split second can change your life forever and something like this makes it stick in your brain. We all need to be much more careful when we ride, the end result is just not worth the risk. God Bless his family.

I'm sorry for your loss and can't imagine what his family is going through right now...

Your safety reminder is very timely for me... I crashed myself this weekend and admittedly I shouldn't have been riding....I'm fine, no broken bones but some serious bruising and a fresh fear of riding in cold temps...

In looking back at my riding over the years I've obviously developed a sense of invincibility as the string of near misses kept mounting until this weekend...

Again, I'm very sorry for your loss and appreciative of the reminder to take safety seriously at all times....
