Has anyone ever taken a Dale Carnegie course? Was it worth it? I'm looking at doing the 3 days Immersion Seminar.

Wow, awesome!

I've not taken a course of his but I just finished one of his books and LOVED it. Let us know if you attend the course and what your thoughts are!

I took a 4 day sales training course. It was good as my first foundation into the sales process and familiarized me with some techniques.

I'd recommend it, but mine paid for as part of a job loss severance package for retraining.

I took those classes many years ago and really liked them. It was a development objective for work, so they covered the cost. Worked out quite well and I'd recommend them, assuming it's still similar to when I took it, which I'm guessing is the case.

I took it many years ago as well. It helped me to be able to talk in front of large groups since most every class there was some kind of public speaking portion. Though it is still not my favorite I think the class helped me to overcome those fears.

I'm reading Scott Adams' (the Dilbert guy) new book, and he speaks very highly of the course he attended.

I'm a decent public speaker but after his recommendation  I will probably consider a course, if the opportunity arises.

I just finished this book and it made me think about doing it again. Talked to the people at Dale Carnegie and it should be pretty simple to get through my Education Assistance program for reimbursement.

It’s a challenge to push yourself a little harder and a little further. Be proud of every workout that is accomplished and every step-even the baby ones-that you take on this course to the finishline.

Experts agree, doing a “mock,” triathlon on the course you’re racing can aid you in your training; performance and most of all quell some nervous energy.
