I would like to do the Vineman Ironman on July 26, 2014. They have a buddy deal where two people sign up and you pay only $282 each. However, if one person bails, the other person has 7 days to find a replacement or they get charged $375 (instead of $282). Who is interested in signing up? I would like to register in early December.

Hi, my name is Lisa Yung. I am going to sign up for the Vineman 2014. It will be my first full triathlon event. I want to sign up for the buddy deal. Did you already sign up a buddy? If yes, do you know anyone else looking for a buddy to sign up for the special deal? Thank you! Merry Christmas!

Sincerely,
Lisa Yung

Often it makes sense to race slower in order to finish faster and at the same time have a more enjoyable Ironman Triathlon experience.

Iron distance racing depends on the three pillars of pacing, nutrition and mental outlook. Training these three areas can significantly improve your race.

I will be 20 this summer and am planning on doing Ironman Montreal. This will be my first year of triathlon, can I do this and stay away from injuries?

During the race there will be plenty of opportunities to exchange bottles, so I'm thinking about going with the aero bottle and Gatorade bottle and fill up as necessary. What should I do?

If a heart patient can do these things, then so can those of you who haven't been split open like a fish and sewn back together.

Pain shows us how strong we are. After last weekend I am convinced of this. After 151 training hours of swimming, biking, and running, I flew to Sonoma County, California for the race.
