Training for very first tri in March! Going to attempt the sprint distance. Crawl before I walk stuff. I do some 5k's every now and then and I have finished one half marathon. Love to swim, and just started cycling. I am really looking forward to this sport. I am currently a Clyde at 225 lbs. but look forward to breaking the 200 mark! Haven't been there since my army days. I am 41 yrs old and trying to set a good example for my kids.

I never imagined that 350 yards broken down into 7 REALLY long lanes would be so big! I gasped out loud and told Grady that maybe I had underestimated the swim.

I had read the articles on BT, I'd trained, and I thought I had prepared. There were, however, a few things that I didn't internalize despite what I'd been told.
