Subject: Indoor trainer
Happy New Year everybody,

I just got a new indoor cycle trainer and set it up. Does anyone have any good workouts or sites with workouts for the indoor trainer?

Are you wanting to know what DVD's to own or what to do while working out?  I watch different movies.  I do long slow workouts and also do tempo work.  Do hard workout every other mile, or I go for a minute a certain heart rates and then off for 30 seconds, or whatever I want to do that day.

I have a computrainer so I just chase the metal man while I watch tv or movies.

I watch TV or a movie but I set my laptop up on the floor in front of me with a one of Coach Troy's spinervals. They have a whole bunch of different types of workouts, climbing, time trial etc. Give them a look!

I don't have a tv to watch but it have one video and was looking on amazon for some others. I guess I will set my laptop up with a DVD in it. I'm excited to use it though as today in CT it is freezing rain and snow on the ground!

Check out www.trainerroad.com

for $10/month you have access to many workouts and you can even use it while watching a movie, I find it much more enjoyable rather just trying to figure out my own workouts and for a little more money you can set it up for virtual power and get a much better bang for your buck, IMHO.

Thanks for the input I found a indoor interval app for my phone I've been using that this week and it seems to be working out. I did get a spinnervals DVD so I might try that tomorrow and see how it goes.
