Very cool!  I'd be terrified.

As you can see, my feet are securely locked into the silks, and they are going behind my back. This one is actually a very secure move.

Whereas this move makes me a little nervous. It's call "the fang". Getting into it is a little nerve racking! Hard to explain unless you see the video.

Just curious...Do they have a JLG lift or scissor lift around the perform a "rescue" if you can't get down?  Or do they just get a knife and start cutting.  Not that I would ever try/do it because well I'd hang myself probably before I'd fall.

Originally posted by Hot Runner Okay, finally a photo of me NOT in a bike helmet. (I don't even bike that much, or as much as I should. No idea why almost all my photos are in bike helmets.) Might still be looking stupid, but at least I'm looking stupid next to Macca. (Hint--I'm not the blonde.) ETA At awards dinner for Bintan Oly in Indonesia on Saturday. He was also at Laguna Lang Co Tri in March. Apparently he's now based in Phuket, Thailand at a training center there (Thanyapura).

So I gotta ask... what's the deal with the turtle??

It's my AG award (I won AG but was 8th overall--not my most glorious race but a PB for Oly). Actually it was on a little stick on top of a plaque, but my turtle (and several other AG winners') came off right after I got it. Figured it would transport back better that way anyway, so I just left it off. I had it in hand as we'd just done a group photo of the AG winners with Macca.

ETA The turtle is kind of the race symbol. There are lots of sea turtles in the area. Haven't seen any during the two times I've raced the course, but have seen them at a nearby beach.

Almost a triathlete! We went swimming last weekend, Friday she went out for an hour long "run" and today she went on her first bike ride!

Abbie

She snacked to keep her energy up during the run :-)

Abbie_Bike1

While it looks like she is waving, her hand is really on the way to try to pull her helmet off...

Abbie_Bike2

And she's got her new ball with her to work on hand-eye coordination :-)

Afraid not! Ha! One time I did get my foot wrapped up pretty tight in this one move (man in the moon) that requires a lot of upper body strength. I got into the pose, and got tired. NOT GOOD! I then had to try to put my foot on the ground and luckily I could get on my tip toe! I was a little scared I wasn't going to make it out of that one. I don't try that one pose (man in the moon) if my upper body is feeling tired.
