Subject: Hip PT in Madison
Hi! I have a friend in Madison who recently had surgery for a torn labrum and hip impingement. She's having a hard time finding a PT with extensive hip experience. Any recommendations?

Thank you!

She should absolutely get at least a consult with Dr Andrew Schupp at Schupp Chiropractic- I am typically not a chiro believer, never having had any good experiences with any of them, but this guy is amazing- he does both ART and Graston, and has completely fixed my hips. I used to not be able to run more than about 3-4 mi at a time, and never back to back days. I'm now training for a 50K- almost pain free. hip surgery is a way bigger deal than my issues, but still, I trust this guy- he is a fairly elite runner himself, and totally gets it, unlike so many who think "rest" and "time off" are reasonable solutions!

I am experiencing hip flexor pain. I hurt it two weeks ago during a race and it's bothered me ever since. Do you have suggestions on how to prevent problems or how to cure it?

I was in the moment, living a dream and on top of the whole world! Honestly, I wish everyone could experience that feeling because it truly cannot be described.

I decided that, after having a new hip put in 11 months ago, I needed a new lifestyle. Just wondering if there's anything that I should know about-especially for the running and biking.

During a "power yoga" session I noticed pain with hip adduction/internal rotation. Running and biking don't seem to bother it, as long as I don't push it. I still have achy pain with walking.

I have noticed an occasional pain in my left hip flexor. The pain is most noticeable when running uphill. Is there a way to fix the problem without taking time off from training?

I have had chronic Achilles tendonitis problems for a good portion of my life. I am wondering if this can ever go away, or if there is a surgery that can be done?
