Well, is everyone ready? I got a campsite and had my last workout, tonight - an easy 1 hour bike in this Taper Week. I have my Shot Blocks and Bonk Breakers and Hammer Gels and my directions all printed out.

I hope so! Got my hotel, I've done my tapering, and at this point I'm just hoping the rain will hold off until late in the race.

I had an OK race, not great but not terrible. Has anyone noticed that the race times on the Ironman site are a bit hinky? Last night all of my times looked good except for T1, which was about 22 minutes (fortunately not the case). Today they have me listed as DNF! At first I was really annoyed but it looks like a huge number of people are now listed as DNF or DNS. There's something going wrong with the site.

Some mistakes I made during the Hawaii Ironman 70.3. Don't be caught out on the course not knowing how or not having the equipment to change a flat tire.

It was the morning of Ironman Newfoundland 70.3, I felt queasy. I didn't want to eat or drink anything. I had a full blown case of the pre-race HEEBEE GEEBEES.
