I usually eat 2-4 eggs just before bed to rid myself of that stomach ache hunger in the morning before training. I've also thought about using casein just before bed as well.

Anyone's thoughts on this? I'm open to suggestions as to anything better.

protein and fat before bed is a good idea. If I were eating eggs before bed they'd be whole eggs. my usual go-to pre-bed meal is low-fat cottage cheese (.5-.75 cup), natural peanut butter (1-2 tablespoons), and a glass of milk (8-16 ounces). so i've heard, the fat slows the digestion and keeps you feeling full through the night and into the morning, and the protein can stave off catabolism (or promote muscle growth, if you're eating to grow).

Not sure about the fat, but what I do know is milk will slow you digestive down as well. Bodybuilders use this method as well.

Milk is a good idea. It has protein which is good before bed to build strength and muscle.

Former bodybuilder here; proper calories before bed is necessary for adequate blood sugar levels and preventing any catabolic tendencies; especially if your metabolism is up from hard training.

If you're conscious of physique and aesthetics, I would lean more towards eggs than milk protein and cottage cheese dairies etc. Little more likely to cause some adipose tissue. If it isn't of concern you have the options and could even have a rice cake with some natural peanut butter.
Consider supplementing with ZMA (Zinc/Magnesium) pre sleep as well.
