Not too shabby a month for base phase training. Yes, I gotta swim more to say the least =P~~~

Swim: 3h 57m - 11450 Yd
Bike: 14h 16m 30s - 249.29 Mi
Run: 9h 36m 37s - 58.52 Mi

I hope I stay injury free until Vineman 70.3 this coming July.

How did you guys do this month?

Building base here too. Had a solid month, esp. on the bike, as per my New Year's resolution!

Swim 10h 10m 5s-- 33,450m
Bike 21h 8m 21s--lots on trainer so km don't make sense
Run 15h 0m 48s --don't track distance
Strength 6h 15m

Funny--I'd considered Vineman 70.3 but didn't enter as not sure I wanted to do a HIM and didn't want to commit that early. Now I'm thinking of doing another (non-branded) one in the summer. My first race (at end of March) is about halfway between Oly and HIM distance, and there's really not that much difference in the training! Also trying to stay healthy. Good luck with Vineman!

Not at all happy with the bike or swim.  I missed a few key run workouts as well.  I have a pretty valid excuse though.  We welcomed our second child into the world on the 11th of February.  Emmett!  I was just happy that I got to run four miles the same day we brought him home :P  This month should be quite a bit better I hope.  Oh and the whole winter is never going to end thing is really killing my mantra.

Swim : 3h 54 min  14650 yards

Bike :  3h 15 min 56.9 miles

Run :  14h 41 min  113.4 miles.

Happy with the run.  Really am focusing on that more than anything else.  I would very much like to Boston qualify at a late April marathon.

Swim season coming to a close so between taper and championship meets and having to rest, swim totals down and no time for the bike/run.  Not like I could run anyway though with this patellar tendonitis injury.

Swim - 26.17 hours.  84,100 yards + any yards from meets.

I'm hoping for somewhere around 2:50 right now. Trying to do 80+ for the next 4 weeks.

And you? Looks like you're marathon training too.

50th anniversary of the calgary marathon so they are doing a 50km ultra for just this year - giving that a go. Aiming for 3:50 or better but no idea what will happen. Trying the Pfitz 18-70 plan for the first time which is pretty hard in the winter. Next year back to S/B/R I think.

Run - 32 miles
Bike- 90.9 miles
Swim- 1100 meters

Not very impressive numbers, especially the swim, but I only got to swim twice last month. I also spent a lot of time on the elliptical/stair climber on days it was too wet to go outside.

Running a duathlon on March 16, so numbers should be a little higher from training for that.

Swim: 10h 05m 30s -- 37,100 meters

Bike: 25h 02m 06s -- 107.3 miles (obviously the vast majority of those hours were done on the trainer, where I don't keep track of distance!)

Run: 13h 32m 14s -- 81.4 miles

Pretty happy with the swim and bike (though hoping the weather gets and stays decent enough to get in some more outdoor mileage).  Still building the run volume.  Just less than nine weeks to St. George 70.3.

Swim- 14,000 meters
Bike- 388 miles
Run- 106 miles
Total 503 miles

I had 531 in January so 1034 for the year I am already 200+ miles up from where I was the first two months of last year. I am going for another 500 this month then I will be tapering several weeks in April for STG 70.3, still need to find a fall 70.3.

Swim 30,000 yeards
Bike 352 miles
Run 93 miles

All (except about 10 miles of the run) were inside :-( ...it's been a brutal winter for us in the frozen north. I'm very happy with my progress on the swim (I've dropped :15 off my 100y time since last year, and pleased with the progress on the bike (upped my power numbers from Jan to Feb). The run is still my Achilles (snerk).

Because of Achilles issues the last month is a little different than usual.

Swim: 16 hrs - 41,200 m in a variety of pools at a variety of times.

Bike - 12 hrs. - 200 + miles. ( all on the trainer because its freezing outside)

Run - 0 - lingering Achilles problems have limited my running to a sparse 5 k here and there for testing.

I have already opted out of the NYC Half marathon because I can't run.
My first race is supposed to be May 18 .. That may be in jeopardy as well..

I am holding out some level of hope for 70.3 Syracuse in late June.

My Sept races may turn into my A races.
