Oh jeez.  I didn't know that.

Is this for real? I don't know. Seems reaching. I don't think it was that obvious.

Edit: easy to find on the website

I never knew about the Pyrex pans self-destructing. Now it's going to mess with my head when I handle them.

You are not supposed to hang curtains over baseboard heaters. Makes sense when you think about it. Just wish I had thought about it before I bought new curtains.

I also learned there is a lady down the street from work who will hem curtains for $10/ hr.

I'm not willing to give this up just yet. If the "Raffel Brothers" specialized in chicken sandwiches, okay. But they specialize in Roast Beef! It's almost like coming up the a movie title first then writing the script afterwords. They must have backed into the name after they established the specialty sandwich! I can almost visualize the two brothers now, "hey Leroy, pass me one of those delicious RB sammies will ya?"

I only recently noticed the "31" in the Baskin Robbins sign. In my defense, I don't go there, just drive by it A LOT

"Pressed" and "Depressed" (with respect to brake pedals, etc.

There was a guy at work who used to get REALLY spun up about this one.   "THEY CAN'T MEAN THE SAME THING.  THEY CAN'T!"

So of course I made sure to write test procedures with a liberal splashing of both uses.

It's waay easier to peel a banana from the BOTTOM than from the (top) stem.

(just pinch the end to open it up...wait...that sounds oddly sexual.....never mind)

The key to sales and consulting is NOT "WHAT" you are selling or what you know, but by connecting with the other person.  Once you have developed a trusting relationship and shown that you care about the customer as a person.

"No one cares what you know until they know that you care."

I keed, I keed!

By golly, I actually think I could do that.

I even stayed with it after she said "One of the biggest challenges you'll face in your life is how to fold a fitted sheet."

Why do I have the feeling it's been years since you've folded a fitted sheet Aaron?

I can beat that with a new tip:  Just wash the one set of sheets and put it back on the bed immediately!  Saves time, saves money, saves storage space.

That I shouldn't expend my time, effort and thought on those who neither appreciate or value it. You would think I'd have learned this by now. That and that leopards don't change their spots.

I'm one of those people who likes different sheets depending on the season.  Especially for the kids.  However, within the season, this is a method I use regularly!

3 new things, all garden related.

1) It's brussels sprouts, not brussel sprouts (I did not know about the terminal s in brussels).  How did I go this long without reading/noticing that? WTF?

2) If you cut off your celery stalks, but put the celery bottom in the ground, it will regrow celery.

3) If you cut the pineapple top off a pineapple and put it in soil, it will grow a plant that will grow pineapple (eventually, if the soil is warm enough long enough).

All you proud new owners of the pineapple corer-thingy can go c-r-a-z-y ;)
