Subject: SOLD 2009 Specialized Transition Comp in Houston, TX Unfortunately, I have come to the realization that my triathlon days have been put on hold. I have a 1-year old and hoping to have baby #2 in the near future. So, as much as I love seeing her in my garage every day, I would rather see her being put to good use. Here are some details:
This bike has very low miles ... I am talking less than 3,000. It is in pristine condition. It has only endured 1 ride in the rain and I keep my bikes maintained professionally by my local bike shop. I am selling her with the ZIpp 404 Carbon Clincher wheelset. I am running an Ultegra 12/27 cassette right now. I will include the stock wheelset that it came with including the 105 10-speed, 11-25t cassette. It has Look pedals that I will leave on the bike. I have also installed Profile Design double water bottle holder behind the seat. I put a new chain on her, new bar tape and had all the brake cables replaced about 500 miles ago.
I am asking $2000 for the bike as is. It was $3350 brand new. I am including the set of Zipp 404 carbon clinchers (less than 2000 miles ), Look pedals, double water bottle holder on back seat post and the stock wheelset. If you would like more information or more pictures, please let me know.
Also, I will only charge the actual amount for shipping.
For all the technical information on the bike, please visit http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bikes/archive/2009/transition/tran...
Edited to include size: 54' Medium. I am 5'8" and I left plenty of seat post to raise for a taller person.
