Took me a while to find something non-consumable that I bought for less than $10.

I guess the last thing was a secondary fuel filter for my truck. Kinda consumable and not very exciting.

I bought a blowgun for ~$9 last week. Came with a pack of steel darts and some plastic pellets too.

Yeah, but, again, cool points for working on your truck :)

Haha, I'll try to remember those points when I attempt to fix my power steering this weekend. 35" tires don't turn so well without it!

I do like pineapple, and my kids LOVE it.  Does this thing remove the brown spiny outside too, or do you still have to do that part?

Bit of a bear to get it home without power steering. Probably have to replace the pump this weekend.

OK, I am way behind on the technology power curve.  What do you need to do on your Mac that you can't do on your iPad.  Do you control the TV from the Mac? If so, why? What is the Mac part doing?  Streaming vid?

I'm temporarily living in a small 1 bedroom apartment and don't have much space so the Mac is connected to the TV for streaming video, internet browsing, etc.  Rather than buying a wireless keyboard/mouse or buying Chromecast this app let's you completely control the Mac.  It also works with multiple computers so once my wife relocates here and we get a house I might just make it into a media server.

Those are 35s?  Jeez, they look right at home on that truck.  I can't imagine something smaller :)

Love, love, love the color.

Aaron, that's a very purdy truck, even though it's a Dodge ;)

It sounds very cool. I'm woefully behind on stuff like this. Thanks for the explanation.

Ever since Balls of Fury, my husband and I have both been wanting to try one.

Cool. Great idea to use them for ultras. Never thought of that. However, I've got at least 5-6 of those from races. They're just being used as "post race dirty clothes" bags.

It's really sad I can't think of anything at all that isn't food. Anything else is over $10. I'll keep thinking.

I don't know if it's sad or commendable :)

I have faith in you though, Comet.  I bet you come up with something good.

I could really use the pineapple gadget. But never seen one in Vietnam. I pay extra to get mine pre-butchered from the fruit shop.

Switch--As for the coil thingy, I'm guessing REI or a travel store would have the same thing for 5-10X the price! Or maybe they're banned in the US? Just don't ever stick your finger in the water while the thing's plugged in! Otherwise they seem pretty safe. You do need to put the coil somewhere burn-resistant after removing it from the water and unplugging it, as it's very hot. I usually use a glass, or the sink.

Well I said that I was not going to do it this season, but I cracked. I broke down and bought a new bike. I went out and bought a shiny new Cannondale road bike.
