The Rock Ultralight has a "port" for the tube of a camelback-type pouch, but not an internal compartment to put it. You could probably secure the pouch with clothes or something. There should be other similar packs that do have a back pouch where you could put a hydration bladder, though. Another good source for run-commute type stuff is Osprey. They manufacture in Vietnam and I occasionally get stuff to "test" from a parent who works there--haven't seen anything big enough to hold work clothes, but they might have a roomier model on their website.

Okay, I submitted jelly beans early on in this thread as my best purchase, but that was properly denied since I did not follow directions.  I am finally getting around to providing a new "best purchase".  I spend $.99 + $4 shipping at Amazon and got 5 little fuses.  I replaced three of them in my 52", 7 year old plasma TV which had stopped working.  Samsung wanted $500+ to fix my TV, so with the help of YouTube and Amazon, I did it myself at a whopping cost of $4.99.  I now have a beautiful working HDTV again.  I'd say that is a good purchase.

I was going to say it might be the Starbuck coffee I'm going to get in about 10 minutes...  But I guess it would be the NON apple brand Ipad usb cable that cost 8 bucks instead of 25 or 30 they want to charge.

That, or the used antique coupe glasses I got (6 for 2 bucks!) at the consignment store.  I feel all 1940's and such drinking my gin gimlets now!  Example of one but mine are a bit more ornate.

Oh, just remembered.  I'm into collecting cast iron (which had me in the used good store in the first place!)  Cast iron is one of the few things that get better with age/use.  Found a great cornbread mold for a couple bucks.  Took a day to refurbish, but it's awesome!

Those are all quite good.  2nd hand stores are great for kitchen stuff and glasswear!

Well, well, well.  Very nice second try, sir.  This may be right up there with the burner phone.

So boring, but a pair of neon green Yankz for my new shoes (gotta have Seahawks colours for mah shooz!) at $4.00 off Amazon, and then I couldn't resist also getting a new belly button ring with a skull and rose on it for $5.50... so I guess I got 2 things for less than $10!

Geez, after thinking I'd never be able to contribute to this thread... Yay me!

Lol - If nothing else this thread has made me realize just how few items I find/buy that are under $10... and that isn't food!

Thanks!  I'm loving all the Betty Designs gear, though I think the thing I've worn the most so far is the winter hat.  *rolls eyes*

For my car, less than $6. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Marathon in 11 days and I will be using that!

I purchased a 6"x12" high density foam roller for $9.99

Given my last event was over three days, and I had to fly back to the UK for it, I needed a travel roller.

worked a charm, left it with the folks there and will be getting another today.

NXS, because you're a nice, conservative guy, I'm just gonna walk away from this one...

P.S. your soil advice is needed in the garden thread :)

I think I might just be curious enough to ask what a 4 ton snatch, block, looks like.

Maybe...

Agreed.  No way you're blocking a 4 ton snatch.

No need for a come-along with one of those, though.

Cuba was awesome. It was my second trip there. In 2008, we travelled by bus. This time we travelled by bike and the experience was awesome. There is hardly any traffic and the bicycle travel is a usual mode of transportation there. Most towns have at least a few private houses that you can stay in, so we didn't even bring camping gear. Anyway, it was even better than bicycle touring in France.

Well I said that I was not going to do it this season, but I cracked. I broke down and bought a new bike. I went out and bought a shiny new Cannondale road bike.
