Subject: Help with Cervelo P2 brake lever..spins around in place
Hopefully someone else has had this issue or knows how to fix it. But my left brake lever is completely loose in the bar end. I noticed it started to rotate just a tiny bit side to side on my last ride, but I was out on it yesterday and it would spin completely freely. The only thing holding it in place is the brake cable itself. It still worked fine as far as braking, but made the bike handling a bit scary on windy stretches.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

if you look in the end of the brake lever on the bar, you will see a hex bolt.

just hold the brake lever in place and tight the bolt. That should fix it.

The only hex bolt I saw was on the side of the level. It looked like it was the piece on which the lever pivoted. Seemed to have nothing to do with holding it in the handlebar. It doesn't seem like there's anything that hold it in place, so I can't tell what keeps it there in the first place. Unless it was under the tape? I didn't take any tape off. Didn't think that would help and didn't want to remove the tape unnecessarily.
