Run
Comments: My goal was to show up to support friends, let the dog have a fun run, and have an easy trot during taper week prior to Oceanside. Boo had a great sniffing exploration trot before the race. It took her about 20 seconds after the gun to figure out what we were doing, then happily followed the crowd in front of us. She set the pace, and it was way faster than it felt, since Boo and I were at an easy pace. We happened to run at my Oceanside target pace, and could have run way faster, so I'm very optimistic about next weekend's run split. The pace was #1 in the small dog division (among both the men's and women's divisions) and second in my actual AG. Last updated: 2014-03-23 12:00 AM

The usual for a Palm Springs race, I woke up 45 minutes before rolling out the door, had a PB and honey and a coffee.
We took an easy trot 2-3 miles to Ruth Hardy Park
