Subject: Trainer Road Question/Issue
Hi,

I don't if this might be the right forum to pose the question.

I had been using Trainer Road for my workouts with a Kurt Kinetic Road Machine Trainer and Garmin HR strap and ANT stick. It was all fine and dandy until recently my old computer (running Windows XP) died and had to be replaced by a machine running Windows 7. Now Trainer Road workouts won't pick up my heart rate. The batteries in the HR are new and the ANT stick is functional.

I'm not very tech savvy but any suggestions to fix the problem?

Thank you,

Hey Sinnerman,

Nate from TrainerRoad here. Couple things to try.

1) Can you pair that HR monitor with something else, like a garmin watch?

2) Make sure the contact points are nice and wet when you put it on.

3) Make sure there aren't any obstructions, try pairing with your shirt off first.

4) If your TR app is already searching for the HR monitor try canceling the search and trying it again.

If all of that fails please e-mail us at [email protected] and we'll dive in deeper.
