I've been running throughout my pregnancy and I'm now starting to experience round ligament pain when I run. Has anyone had success with the bands that support your "bump" while running? Brands, models, etc?

I hope to be conceiving soon and will face the same thing. I always wondered how the "bump" is supported

Sorry I don't have anything to add but I am interested in replies!

I ran until I was about 34 weeks pregnant.  Unfortunately, not a whole lot helps with round ligament pain.  It happens because your uterus is stretching and putting more strain on the ligaments.  I did use the band towards the end, but that only took the pressure off my back.

I used a Gabrialla band.  They have different levels of support and are very adjustable.  I highly recommend that brand.

My doctor says 140bpm HR is my max, but that feels like a walk in the park... I don't know what to do, how to train, and my motivation is waning. Any suggestions?

Running doesn’t cause injuries – runners do. Nine out of ten times, running injuries occur because you’re overdoing something. You’re running too far, too fast, or too much.

No matter what technique you use, running still remains a sport that requires “pain and suffering.” Technique-only training will not make you a fast runner if you don’t practice to be one.

I’m a 240lb man, and I run relatively long distances. How would you recommend training for marathon and IM distances as heavy as I am?
