Oh boy, oh boy! I've been waiting for this thread to pop up!

For me, it'll be...

Get in Gear 1/2
Gear West Du
Liberty 1/2
HOLT Long Course (after 5 years straight of doing Chaska, this'll be a change of pace)
Lake Marion Oly
IMWI
Something in the fall - maybe Drumstick Dash, or Monster Dash. I dunno.

Hopefully there are a few TNT races in there as well.

This will be the first time in 4 years I won't be doing American Triple T (Ohio) in May so that really opens things up for local races.  I probably won't race nearly as much locally as I have done in the past.  The only ones I know I'll possibly/probably/maybe do are:

Get In Gear half marathon
Apple Duathlon
Liberty Half IM

I'm registered for IM Mont-Tremblant 70.3 in June, but I may eat the entry fee to save travel money which is why I'm thinking Liberty HIM instead.

All of this in prep for IM Mont-Tremblant in August and we'll see what happens after that........................

I was all thinking I'd try racing again this year...and then now, I'm like...eh.

Anyway:

Probably Oakdale, since I can roll out of bed and be on the course :D

Maybe Gear

Du nats, I guess [supposed to be out of town that weekend, but if I can rearrange stuff...].

Whatever other dus I find that don't conflict with fishing :p

QC Times Bix 7

Cheq 40

Treadman?

Probably monster dash 1/2 or 10 (why, I have no idea) or TC10

Dude. 3 of your races cover 351.5 miles. You're gonna make the rest of us feel lazy.

I did Get Lucky half (PB 1:45, woo hoo!!)

6/7 Liberty HIM

8/23 Maple Grove (maybe, not sure which distance yet)

9/7 IMWI

I signed up for IMWI this year, and my wife made me promise in trade that I would only do one or two other races. I'd like to do Lifetime and MG, but I don't think I can get away with it... Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you at Liberty!

Luckily I got into Chicago, otherwise that would have left a huge gap in there without a race!

I've only done 1 tri per year the past 3-4 years, so I'm excited to bump that schedule up again.

Goldy's Run 10 miler (done)
Lake Minnetonka Tri (doing the Aquabike)
Chaska RCD Tri
Tour De Tonka (only 8 days before a 70.3, so this will be a pretty easy ride)
Steelhead 70.3
Mankato Half Marathon (may talk myself into the full)

Also, wife is having a baby in May, so there's certainly a fair amount of parental duties too!

I love these threads....

My race schedule is my signature line

Looks like the Liberty race will be BT represented.

I'm doing the Olympic and trying to qualify for AG Nationals.  So if you are in the 35-39 age group, please show up and run slow.  Need to get top 1/3 in my AG.

Good luck everyone!

Iron distance racing depends on the three pillars of pacing, nutrition and mental outlook. Training these three areas can significantly improve your race.
