I realized that pretty much everything a baby does, it wouldn't be appropriate/socially acceptable for most adults. (I'm defining baby as under a year and an adult as over 18)

- Pass out while drinking/eating

- Cry (with tears) when their hungry or tired or...

- Roll around on the ground...all day

- Not hold their bladders or bowels / poop in their pants

Anyone want to add anything??

Other than pooping their pants that sounds a lot like the typical millenial.

Wake up your family members in the middle of the night just because you want attention.

Puke on the person nearest you after every meal.

I am sure there are more. I have a newborn in the house so I may add some later.

Throw a  cup full of milk onto the table next to you while out to dinner and you're having a tantrum so that it explodes all over everyone like a milk bomb.  I'm not sure how acceptable it is, but I know how many dinners it cost me.

This thread reminds me of a comedy quote that was along the lines of "toddlers are like tiny drunk people".

Putting your foot actually in your mouth.  It's pretty cute when a baby does it.  As an adult, I've only done it figuratively.  Not cute.

Insist that another adult wash you in the bath tub, with bath toys, but only every other day.

Actively seek out electrical outlets to find out what happens when you play with them.

Press your face up against every glass window and door you come across.

I've long pondered this with not necessarily babies but young children in general.  Skipping, running around in circles, having imaginary friends/pets, climbing and jumping all over things are all perfectly normal/acceptable for the <10 set but if an adult did it they'd be shipped to the closest padded room.

lol, I'm not sure that it's a good thing, but that's the first thing I thought of too.

Also, grabbing another woman's bewb.  Those darn babies are always grabbing everything.  ;-)

Spending any significant amount of time in public wearing only your underwear/diaper (& maybe a shirt).

Believing in Santa and the tooth fairy.
Spilling liquids over constantly, and not being expected to clean it up.
Not understanding the word ''no.'' Although, some adults don't understand that, either, so....

Just another reminder for us to stop taking ourselves so seriously.
Personally, I enjoy skipping from the grocery store out in the parking lot. I'll zoom the cart a little and hop on to coast just a bit.

+1

Riding on the cart across the parking lot is the highlight of shopping.

You know that situation where everyone is having an enjoyable lighthearted discussion and someone with no self awareness comes in and says something that doesn't belong in the conversation? That's what you just did. Take it elsewhere. Please.
