Hey all!
Summer is almost here in AZ and the time in the sun is growing. I'm usually able to swim around 8am when the sun isn't too bad but lately I haven't made it to the pool until 10:30 or 11, so after a 1 to 1.5 hour swim, I get a LOT of exposure. I always try to get enough sunscreen on, but wondered if there was an effective swim shirt out there that didn't restrict my stroke but provided more protection.
I've tried a couple types of rash guards but didn't like the drag, even when they were quite tight fitting.
Wondered if anyone had a recommendation or a company that makes a good one. Thanks!

Nothing specific but would a Tri top work? It is made for swimming in, is tight to the body, offers more coverage then a bathing suit. I have heard there are even ones with sleeves but have not seen/tried one.

This is a little late but you might check the ProMotion Wetsuits site. They're an Oregon based company and I've been really happy with my sleeveless shorty pool wetsuit from them. They're based in Hood River, where windsurfing is very popular, and I know they have a lot of shirt-type options for sun protection and/or warmth. Guessing if you got the right size, drag would be minimal. They have great customer service--I called a couple of times before I ordered with questions about which product was best for my needs and sizing advice, and later had to return another product due to fit issues--always got knowledgeable and courteous people on the phone.
