The energy here is unbelievable.
Emotions are running high.

Stories from last year that bring me to tears but moving forward and the spirit of hope.

I walk down the street grinning ear to ear.

Excitement to do this.

Honored to be part of it

Thumbs up!

I read the Runners World Boston issue for this year over the last couple days. I was tearing up more than I liked to admit.

Not so Irish anymore - except for the grandfathered fireman rules!

Very diverse in Boston - but still majority is Anglo

Good luck and enjoy!! I am actually going to watch it today on TV (usually don't) , but the one person who was singlehandedly responsible for me ever running in a marathon back in the mid-eighties and qualifying for Boston back then, Joan Benoit Samuelson (Joan Benoit in those days), will be running today and I want to see how she, and all the runners, do today. Really excited for all.

Have a great race. It's a unique experience, and I am sure this year is incredibly emotional.

You have an absolutely perfect day for it, too. Run swift and strong.

I anticipated a wasted morning. Sitting in the conference room, have it up on the 55" TV err, videoconference monitor.
