Subject: Yelp for Races?
Is there a good feedback mechanism to send feedback to race directors?

If something goes wrong during a race, how do you let them know?

Let them know after?

If you mean during the race just let a volunteer nearby know. They usually all have some type of line open for communication (cellphones, walkie-talkies, etc.) to keep the race running smoothly.

email them directly?  are you trying to get feedback to the race director or other racers - cause i think a yelp for races is an AWESOME idea to help people choose races!

Thanks for the feedback - I'm actually thinking of trying to build a Yelp for races! I have experienced some issues in the past that just were never resolved and I'm stilled owed an entry fee.

Also I find that some races are just run poorly and they could probably use a feedback mechanism.

Anyone who wants in on the beta let me know. haha.

ETA - There are some races actually on Yelp (I just checked) but the rating system doesn't seem to apply very well.

I think it should be:

- Race course
- Safety
- Food
- Volunteers
- Water clarity

Etc

My next race has a review and rating system. Not sure how mobile friendly it is and I know it is very Canada focused.

what were the problems you had in previous races and why are you owed an entry fee?

I review races on yelp regularly. Its not the best tool but the yelp company does listen to suggestions and try hard to support everything you ask for.

My expectations for the quality of this years’ Triathlon world championship were fulfilled. This was because of the superb location that is like no other along with having the top triathletes present.
