Subject: I never liked him anyway...

I always thought that he was a bad choice for Gore's running mate.  Can't say I'm disappointed to see him go.

Don't count him out yet.  That was merely the primary, and he has plans to run as an independent.  He actually has a fairly good shot at winning too.

While I never thought his charisma was strong enough for a VP race, and I did like the idea of a Jew in the whitehouse, it may have helped and hurt him, probably hurt him more than helped.  Now he's a fairly conservative Democrat - independent now, but he has a lost of the same values that I do, and some that I don't agree with, but as an independent he can get a lot of moderate republicans and a lot of conservative dem's.  But, hey I'm in MA so I can't vote anyway.

The thing I think is really interesting is how the chances are extremely good for a GOP senator from CT now, as These two may split the left leaning vote leaving all teh right wingers with only one guy to vote for. Nader / Perot effect.....

Not hardly.  The Repub candidate is polling at about 10%.
