Subject: Closet Athlete
I guess I can no longer call myself a newbie as August 2014 will mark 2 full years of triathlon training, but I feel like I still have so much to learn. My longest race to date has been Barb's Race, a 70.3 all women's triathlon. I am doing this race again this year...this time several of my team mates as well as my youngest daughter will be competing too. I am almost more nervous about their races than I was for my own last year.

I guess my favorite part about triathlons is my training group. If I didn't have these people, I probably wouldn't have stuck with this whole crazy endeavor.

Welcome to BT!

I've been here almost 10 years, but still feel like I'm learning new stuff all the time.  Don't think it ever ends, which is a good thing.

Good luck with your training.

I may not have pre-pubescent hips or breasts and at 36 that would be ridiculous. I do not need to have an "airbrushed body" and why do I revere that?
