Thought that was a very interesting article. Does anybody or has anyone ever done The Plan?

So far this month has been a total fail. I am up 2 lbs from start and 3 lbs from the lowest. We went away this past weekend and even though I ran twice, I ate horribly. Yester day was restart time for me.

So today I was 167. Hopefully I do not see that number again.

Starting weight: 141.8 (April 30).
2014/05/07 - 144.9
2014/05/14 - 142.6
2014/05/21 - 143.3

And up....and down.... and up....

Doing tons of training (good). Hungry ALL THE TIME (bad). Not eating an excessive amount of junk, but more than I should.

Have decided that for May, just staying on track will be good enough. IMMT is ~12 weeks away - I have to focus on the goal, and worry about more real weight loss in the fall.

Oh Oh - looks like I am following a trend. Although I was at 222 for several days after last week's surprise. I was 224 this morning. Suspect eating and making yesterday a rest day not good for the number on the scale. BF% was down though

Not as much as I'd like...have to make the next 10 days count!

5/31/14 Goal: 195

5/14/14:  193.

5/21/14: 193  - Meh.  I will take it considering the last couple of meals I have had were huge!

5/12/14: 197

5/31/14 Goal: 195

5/14/14:  193.

5/21/14: 193

5/29/15:  196!  Happy with this considering I only put on 3 pounds during my 5 day fishing trip where working out became a major challenge.

Time to swoop in at the end and report results.

About 6 weeks ago I noticed that once again, my pants were getting tight.   Noodles every day for lunch will always catch up with me.  That, added to the amount of oil/sugar in Chinese cooking really does me in.

Got serious(again) about watching my intake, logging everything I ate, and making sure that my fitbit steps were hitting my goal.   Also, for the last week, I've experimented with 20-hour fasting.   I  only eat between the hours of 5PM and 9PM every day.   So far, I LOVE it.

Anyway, I'm finally under 190 for the first time in YEARS.  Would love to get down to 175, with 165 as a stretch goal. (165 was what I weighed when I left for college)

I will have to play it by ear, 165 might not be doable.

I think the thing that helps me the most is DATA.   Between MFP, my fitbit and my withings scale, I can really keep track of how I'm doing.

Two days late but here we go...

Starting weight: 141.8 (April 30).
2014/05/07 - 144.9
2014/05/14 - 142.6
2014/05/21 - 143.3
2014/05/28 - 142.0

As of this morning, 141.8.... which is exactly where I was on April 30. :P

I still think I have a shot at losing 5 more pounds before IMMT; I will say that with my increased training load, I'm hungry ALL the time, but I'm trying really hard to add quality foods as opposed to junk.

My non-scale success is that I now fit back into several summer skirt suits I haven't been able to wear comfortably since 2012. So that's a win.

Haven't checked in in a while, so here goes:

May 30  138.3  Pounds are starting to come back off.  I'm really watching what I eat and how much I eat.  I'm not worried so much about the size of my clothes at the moment, but how I feel.  It doesn't matter if I wear a size 4 (which I was last summer) if I don't feel good about myself.  Right now I am wearing a size 8 but with a 3-4 less pounds and 1/2 inch less I would be in a 6.  A lot of the stress in my life has been removed and I am pretty content with where God has led me.

I am down 1/2 pound (137.8).  I'm ok with a little at a time.  It didn't go on overnight and it won't come off overnight.  I now longer have to live up to anyone else's standards except my own!

 What app is this?

This display is from my withings app.   You can download it from the app store when you get a withings scale.   I have the "Smart Body Analyzer"  It's great because I can also use it to track the kids weight as they grow.

It's a great product, I highly recommend it .   MyFitnessPal is what I use for tracking food/calories, and I use my fitbit to track steps.  All of the accounts are interconnected.
