I have always used Asics nimbus, but I want to try out the Noosa. Anyone use these for long distance racing and like them? I certainly like the colors It seems to me they are still a neutral shoe and more light weight. I don't think I would have an issue going from a 12-10 drop either. Wander if they drain the pee out of your shoes faster as well

Do you train in them as well? I see it says there are designed more for racing and I always alternate 2 pairs.

I did my first IM in the DS Trainer, same shoe as the Noosa. They are a light stability shoe. I did all my training in them and they worked well. I don't need stability so I've moved on, but they are a good shoe.

I used them last year in IM Louisville. I liked them because they drain well, all liquids, not just pee! They seemed stable and offered enough support that I felt secure in them. However, I did find that they seemed to wear out faster than other brands. I only got 275ish miles out of any given pair I wore.

Um, maybe a stupid question here, but:

I know some people just go when they need to rather than stopping while on the bike, but this thread seems to be suggesting people do that while running as well?

I kind of thought the fact that it was much quicker and easier to stop while running (plus generally easier to just find a spot on the side of the route if needed) that generally speaking people didn't do this?
