Subject: 5.22.14 Thursday!

Good morning BT!  Earlier start than usual for me today!

4:00am:  60 minutes on the KK

5:00am:  20 minutes core

Getting the family up early to head into Salt Lake City for the day--doctor's appointments, etc--but the very best reason of all--getting aero bars put on Ruby--I will be in full beast mode at my next triathlon in June!

33 minute easy run this AM and 3200m of swimming this PM. Heat is ridiculous--the pool used to be welcome relief but now even that is hot--anything over 100m makes me feel like I'm swimming in bathwater!

Enjoy the aerobars! They take a little bit of getting used to.

3600 yards in the pool at 5:30am. I'll either do strength training/boxing or running after work. I'm cutting back a bit as yesterday I started to feel a bit tired. I tuned it down this morning and feel better.

Getting a new fit and saddle on my Tri Bike today so I am sure I will do atleast an hour or so on the trainer tonight!

Good morning!

1 hour on the bike followed by 1800 yards in the pool this morning.

My first Olympic distance coming up in just over a week. Getting excited/nervous.

I ended up doing 30 minutes on the spin bike at a steady 100 cadence followed by a quick 5 minutes of intervals on the Curve TM 30 full on 30 off, and finished with 25 minutes of Core, all in all a good lunch hour workout. Found out the Pool will be closed tomorrow that sucks as it was my swim day so I will have to figure out something for tomorrow.

This morning I got up early and commuted to work on my bike. I took the coast route (Hwy 101) all the way down and so is the shortest distance between home and the office. Later in the season I usually start doing the inland route which adds a good bit of distance and a lot of hills. (25 Miles - AM)

At lunch I headed out from the office and ran through the lagoon along the Marsh Trail in Torrey Pines to the beach and then jumped in the ocean for a quick swim then ran back to the office. May Grey has set in but it was certainly a comfortable run in spite of being wet on the way back with no sun to warm up in. (10 Mile Run, 1000 Meter Swim)

After work I will be bike commuting back up north. I can usually find a few roadies to play hodgy podgy with and hope to get some higher intensity bits into my ride. (25 Miles - PM)
