I am currently using a pair of speedo goggles and can't keep them from fogging up. I have used a speedo anti fog product without much success. These goggles are a couple of years old, do I possibly need to get a new pair? Any suggestions?

Spit in them, rub it all over the inside of the lenses and then rinse the out.
See if that helps.

x2 I had the same problem and this fixed it. Haven't had one issue since I started doing this.

I got some nice speedo goggles and they stayed fog free (production product??) for a good while. They they started to fail and now barely last 400m.

Spit works. Some use no tears baby shampoo (tiny amount). Either serves to mess up the surface tension of the water droplets in your goggles and stop fog forming.

Spitting in them and washing them out before workout works for me.

When mine start to fog up, I just buy a new pair. However, I have had my Aquasphere ones for almost a year now using them 2-4x a week, and they still don't fog up.

Spit only works a little for me, but a little shampoo keeps em clear the entire workout. I've gone from buying a near pair of goggles every month to using the same pair for over a year

Baby shampoo works great, but I usually forget to do it and just revert to using spit.  I'll usually re-do the spit during my rest break between long sets.

I use the foaming hand soap. I apply it before I go tot hte pool and allow it to dry on the lens. I then rinse it off at the pool. The no tear baby shampoo might be better. There have been times when I failed to rinse very well.

It seems like the factory coating only last me a couple of months. But my son who swims a lot more than me gets 6 months out of them. We use the same brand.

Baby shampoo works awesome. Just a bead on my finger, rub it on the inside of the lens, wash it out, good to go.

If they're a couple of years old, it's time to replace them. You'll be amazed how much clarity a new pair of goggles will give you. Even if your current pair didn't fog up, they are likely covered in scratches. When you get a new pair, you'll feel like you can see for miles.

Wow. A new pair every month.

I smear some shampoo or some handsoap by the locker room sinks on my way out to the pool and then rinse.

Or I just deal with it and wipe them clean between intervals.

Yea, total waste of money. I wish I knew about the shampoo trick earlier on...

I use baby shampoo now that my Aquasheres are a year plus, but on new googles don't use anything and don't rub the insides, it will remove the coating that keeps them clear.

Baby shampoo, just make sure you get it all out. It may be tear free, but burns like a B

They are a couple of years old so I will get a new pair and remember the baby shampoo tip/spit for the future

I fill a little travel size spray bottle ($1 at Wal Mart) with 1/4 baby shampoo and the rest water. 1 spray per lens in the locker room before swimming, no need to rise, and no fogging for my whole workout, 1-2 hours, usually. The spit thing didn't work very well for me. It wouldn't last the whole workout.

My spray bottle is 1/2 empty now, and I've been using the same $1 travel sized baby shampoo bottle for myself and my wife for the last 18 months, and I still have almost half of it left.

Not counting the $1 spray bottle because I don't know how long it will last, that's about $0.08 PER YEAR for anti-fog.
