Silly random thought of the day: "When jogging, we put on special clothes so people don't think we are running from or to something."

I know it's like talking to the wall these days in TAN and CoJ, but just had one of those little life's annoyances.  The exploding pen.  You know, once every other year when a pen inexplicably decides to fail and you get ink all over your hands and it takes 30 minutes of scrubbing just to get to a point it won't spread, even though my fingers are still green...

Oh well.

This morning we had 5 inches of rain fall between 5:30 Am and 8 AM!  It was crazy. I had to take four different routes to get to work due to roads being closed!

I don't think we've had 5 inches of rain all year... wait, just checked we've had 5.05" of rain so far!

Thank you  :D

We're s00000per excited about it!

More importantly, I think we've already gotten half of the rough planning done with a general idea of when (next May). A small ceremony with mostly immediate family, close friends, few frills and a big old cookout/BBQ the next day at our house (the one we're in the process of buying together).  Very low key & easy going.

Anxiously awaiting my invite! I like pepper jack cheeze on my burgers. And a gluten free bun pleaze.

I can't promise the gluten-free bun, but pepper jack cheeze is a given!    MMMMmmmmmm, already looking forward to burgers, ribs, dogs, & brats....

On a downer note: my brother's final diagnosis came in before vacation - Mixed Cellularity Hodgkins Lymphoma; likely Stage IV (still awaiting the PET scan).  His first chemo treatment is today... so, if any of ya are the praying type, it'd be much appreciated if you could put a total stranger in your prayers for a little bit.
