Well, I gained about 30 pounds over the last 2 years and it's time to do something about it. I haven't weighed myself in almost a week, but last time I weighed 192 lbs. I would like to get down to around 160 lbs. I had already started training for Xterra triathlon coming up in July, but have decided to add weight loss as a goal, too. 192 lbs. is just too heavy for a man my height (5' 6") and I can tell it's starting to effect my joints and lower back. Time to do something about it before permanent damage occurs.

My thanks to the triathlete community for being there when I need you. That’s the beautiful thing about triathletes. None of us are all right, and no one expects anyone else to be.
