I would recommend is going to your LBS and having them help you find the right saddle FOR YOU.
For my road bike I spent a couple of hours with at my LBS being measured, talking with about differences and trying different saddles. After what seemed like forever (each time they changed and adjusted the saddle sometimes making multiple adjustments per saddle ) I ended up thinking I had the "right" saddle; however, after riding it for a week or so I realized it wasn't the "right" one and they took it back and exchanged it for a different one. It was a long and tedious process because it took a long time to find one that felt good, but in the end I ended up with a relatively comfortable saddle (although still not perfect ).
For my tri bike the sales person suggested the saddle, I tried it, liked it and we hit it first try. So it all depends.
