I'm just looking for suggestions here, would prefer to keep it under $200. Now that I have a few open water swims on the books I've discovered I'm having a lot of trouble warming up in the water. I have never perchased, nor warn a wetsuit before and have no idea what I'm looking for.

You are not clear about the thing you wanted, so if possible please make it clear what exact you are looking for, so that I can suggest you what is best for you.

My Profile Design Wahoo has been great. Very affordable and easy on/off.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm kind of in information overload with this, some suits only fit with certain body types, or stroke techniques. all the different features and choices. I'm so confused.

If this is your first suit, really try to find a place where you can go and try on different suits and talk to some knowledgeable staff.

If this is not an option, then I've heard Xterra wetsuits have really good customer service. Never tried them myself, but they seem to have a pretty good reputation (pretty good prices, too!!).

I picked up a rental suit for a month and then purchased it. Because it had been a rental it was discounted and because I'd rented the rental fee applied to purchase. Depending on where you're swimming you could get long johns or a full suit. Try using a neoprene cap first, if the water isn't cold enough to keep you from swimming a cap might fix it.
