It seems that the harder I push myself, the lower my blood pressure drops. For example: I neglected to run Thurs AM before work. I ended up getting off early, so I did a run before my group ride. I pushed the run a bit hard. 30 min later I'm trying to keep up with the 'A/B' group for an while on the bike. Actually avg'd almost 19 for the first 8 miles! I then ran out of gas and hit a headwind. I was dizzy and pukey, but never got sick. I got home, took a shower, then my BP. It was 100/97... Really weird.

Ideas?

If I allow myself to get dehydrated during a harder workout my BP will drop to those levels for an hour or so

I ran a short brick this morning 11.8/2.5 and I didn't have a repeat. Granted, I took water before and during the ride (had to use the restroom in "transition") and after the run. Had no ill effects and BP was 145/84 after shower and before meds... So normal. I think you got it. Will keep an eye on it with temps going up (90+ all week).

Thanks!!
