Thinking about signing up last minute for this - will anyone else be there?
I've participated and volunteered many years, it's a small, but wonderful race.

I am in for the sprint. It should be a great race to watch. There is a little "Grudge" match to be settled after KS 70.3 between a couple of elites.

Was a great day for racing, despite the 90% humidity! 70 degrees and cloudy, yaaa!

I had a blast - hows about you Noel?

I did get third (out of four but who cares lol) and I am not quite worthy of the bike! Planning on much more time in that saddle - I have a goal average mph for my next sprint

I had a great race! The weather was nice save the humidity. Looking back at last years splits I gained 2.5 mph avg on the bike and shaved 2 min/mile off my run times so huge improvements for me. Mudwater has to be one of my favorite races each year just because you know everyone that is doing it. Now on to Waterfront and Rock'n Route. I actually got 5th in my AG which is hard to do for us 30-34 groupers.

Uhh yeah that age group got a lot harder the past few years. I used to date the guy who won it this year and am good buddies with 3rd place. Fasties!

I wanted to sign up for Waterfront but I'll be out of town that weekend. Rock N Route sounds fun though!

Having Nickel, Francis, and Lovgren in my AG assures me I will never podium, but I am ok with that. I like doing the small local races and try to get in 2-3 bigger "travel" races each year as well. I am looking to do Pikes Peak ascent, Redman, and Boulder Boulder next year for my vacation races. I have to wait on doing a full IM till the boys are old enough to be home alone so I can train.

How many races do you usually do each year Lisa?

After you have established the Ironman goal, the most important factor outside of the training is which race to choose? What is your best sort of course, hilly, rolling, flat?
