Saw these at the pet store today, my wife & I started cracking up!

On a serious note.  Our dog (60 lbs) ran 20 miles this week and gets ~4-5 cups of 28% protein, 18% fat of Sport high activity dog food per day.

I need to get my dogs running again. Unfortunately I gave them a few to many sedentary years, and now they slow me down way too much lol. You should just throw them some extra meat scraps when you cook.

Mine mostly like to lay and watch me run on the treadmill.

My dog runs on the treadmill but he does not get "fuel" on his runs.

You really need to get some speed work done. 10x400 with 30sec of rolling in the grass.

You should also get your dog a pair of Newtons, or Hoka's, what ever you think suits him.

He's on the 'old' 0-drop natural route, we can't get him to try anything else!

He's following the BT LSD advise right now.  Except he knows the home stretch I can't get him to do keep his HR down on the last 1-2 miles, loves to neg split his runs!

We're on vacation in upstate NY and is loving the cool water soaks in Lake Ontario after a nice run!

That's an awesome pic! Great looking dog!

Those bars crack me up, like seriously!

I like reading these kinds of posts because I have been getting the itch to get a dog, and I want one I can run/hike with!

Dog training techniques have surprising parallels to triathlon training and race preparation. All the lessons I THOUGHT were for my dogs started seeming very applicable to me! Here's what I learned.
