Comments:

the last two weeks my relay team started with the "under 1 hour" people because I had a very strong swimmer and runner. This week I was part of an all female team and the swimmer wanted to start with the women, 4 minutes back - which was fine but I didn't realize how much time I lose when I have to pass people on the trail. Sometimes it's not easy!! I was 30 seconds slower this week. Oh well. I'm not in it to win it - just to beat my own times :)

Fun!

Sounds like a pain passing people on trails (I can only imagine), so I'm guessing 30" is less than you lost passing (iow, a good ride).

Congrats - this series sounds like a blast.

thanks! SO much fun. And this year I know a lot of people doing it so it's even better.

I think next year I'll do all 10 solo!

Great bike on this round! I agree, that's awesome T.I.T.S. passing on a trail.

Great job. Passing on the trails would cause me some consternation, good on ya for doing as well as you did!!!

Super race!  Good job with the passing - it's just all part of the fun of off-road races.  Glad you had fun!!  This series of races sounds like a blast, especially since you know a bunch of people and cheer each other one.  Love that you're thinking of doing all 10 next year.  DOOOO EEEEET!

Nice work on the bike!  And yes, passing people is enough of a pain on wide roads, let alone narrow trails/singletrack.  Glad you are having fun with these races!

I own both a road bike and a tri bike. I am wondering which bike I should be riding during off season training, or does it matter?
