perch lake mile & 2 mile ow swims

i suppose this should be over on the wisconsin board, since this race is outside hudson. this is a wonderful event. very small, low key. lake is great. no weeds or fish or sea monsters. really! i did the first annual 2 years ago. last year kelly (kelpeng) and i did it together, she did the 1 mile, and i did the 2 mile (to this day, the longest swim i've ever done!). we are both doing the 2 mile this year. i may switch to the 1 mile if i'm still a sickie, but i am feeling better today and am hopeful i will be able to do the 2 mile.

Perch Lake will be the host to this years third annual Perch Lake Swim. There will be One and Two Mile Swims with medals being awarded to the top three men and women finsihers in each group. The race begins Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 9:00am.
